Sinead Twomey completes 250 parkruns


Well done to Sinead Twomey who completed her 250th 5k parkrun at the Castle Demesne event recently!

If we say one parkrun a week then it would take about 5 years of more or less doing a 5k parkrun every Saturday to reach this impressive total.

Looking at the stats on the Macroom 5k parkun page, Sinead did 205 of her 250 parkruns in Macroom, 9 in Ballincollig and the balance in a multitude of locations.

I wonder who has done the most 5k parkruns in Cork? Are there many over 250 parkruns? What's the max?

    Well done to Sinead,I know Richie Fitzgerald has completed 330 Parkuns in total, 268 of them in Macroom.

    and both have volunteered very many times ago.

    I did my 250th on Dec 10th in Ballincollig. 1st person in Cork City to have done it. Colette. 😁
