Notice: Togher 5k road race in Cork City - Tues 27th Dec 2022

The annual Togher 5k is coming up over the Christmas period on Tuesday the 27th of December 2022 at 11am. 

Reminder: The 20th of December is the last day for entries.

This is always a popular race and is one of the biggest in Cork over Christmas. As 5k courses go, this one is pretty fast and it's mostly around quiet housing estates.

All proceeds from the event go towards Togher AC and Cork Mental Health Foundation.

From Togher AC... Togher AC and Cork mental Health are delighted to be able to hold this years Ryans SuperValu Togher 5k 2022. 

The event will take place in Togher starting from outside Ryan's SuperValu in Togher at 11am on Tuesday the 27th of December.

This event will be online registration only and will be limited to 1000 participants. We are expecting big interest in this event as in previous years so please book early to avoid disappointment. 

Refreshments will be provided after the event in Togher Primary School as in previous years prior to Covid restrictions.

Note there is a slight change to the 5k course this year. Essentially runners will go down Sandymount Avenue after the 3k mark, and not Sandymount Drive, as previously. There will be plenty of stewards on hand to direct runners.
