Results of the Bob Burke 4-mile in Fermoy - Sun 24th July 2022

This 4-mile race in Fermoy was held on Sunday the 24th of July 2022 and attracted a field of 156 runners, a drop of 6% on the number for 2021. It does suggest that there is no bounce back in race numbers post lockdown for the pandemic.

For whatever reason, the field of runners looks a lot slower as well. In 2021, a total of 51 runners were under 24 minutes (6min/mile pace) whereas that was just 19 in 2022. 

In July of 2021, race were just getting restarted so perhaps the faster runners were more willing to travel then?
