This 5k is coming up in the village of Cloughduv on Thursday the 16th of June 2022 at 7:30pm.
Proceeds are being donated to Red Cross Ukraine appeal this year.
You enter on the night.
Located about 10kms west of Ballincollig, Cloughduv is just off the N22 Cork to Macroom road.
There will be refreshments after the race with results and times published later.
The 5k course itself is reasonably flat with a really nice section through Ryecourt Wood (photos shown below).
Notes below from the organisers...The route is a loop starting at the local Dairygold store (3-5 minute walk east of GAA complex) finishing in GAA Complex.
Runners/walkers will head east approaching the N22, taking a left turn through scenic Ryecourt wood ( pictures below) before re-joining the road bringing runners/walkers back into Cloughduv village (approx. 4.5 km mark) , keeping left at crossroads in village. GAA Complex is on the left at edge of village.
The route is a nice flat course with two small inclines ….. suitable for all participants.
Cloughduv Hurling & Camogie Clubs wish to acknowledge the kind generosity of Ms Rosaleen Rye and Peadar Creedon in allowing Ryecourt to be accessed for 5k.
