Results of the 5k parkruns in Cork - Sat 2nd Oct 2021


Results of this weeks eight 5k parkruns around the county.

Ballincollig Regional Park: The numbers were down a bit this week with 279 taking part. It's still just below the of 300.

Mallow Castle: 86 turned out for this weeks 5k parkrun on the grounds of Mallow Castle which is down on the 108 of  last week. The long term average is 102 but this is highly variable at the moment as this was only the fourth event at Mallow Castle.

Glen River: The were 74 finishers in this weeks 5k parkrun in the Glen in the northside of Cork City. The long term average is 88. FINAL LINK ONGOING - CHECK LATEST RESULTS

Macroom Desmense: There was a drop to 32 this week for this one in Macroom which is down slightly on the 40 of last week. The long term average is 54.

Castlehaven: There were just 17 finishers for this weeks 5k parkrun in Rineen Woods near Castlehaven. It was slightly unusual in that 2 of the first 3 finishers were women.

Bere Island: The 5k parkrun on Bere Island had just 22 taking part this week. The long term average is 47.
