The weather conditions for the race look like it will be mild with temperatures around 10-11 deg C with a strong breeze from the west.
There is no rain forecast so it looks it will be dry.
The big issue weather wise is likely to be the wind. It's forecast to be around 30kph and that will certainly be a strong headwind from miles 3 to 5.
From miles 5 to 8, that wind will be behind the runners and it will lose a lot of its cooling effect. Those who are overdressed for the race may feel that it is very warm at that stage.
As it's so mild, I'd recommend a singlet or a short sleeve dry fit top. If you feel slightly cold at the start line then you're wearing just enough.
