Weather Forecast for the 2019 East Cork Harbour Marathon, Half-Marathon & 10k
The 2019 East Cork Harbour Marathon, Half-Marathon & 10k is coming up on Saturday the 10th of August and the weather forecast isn't looking great.
Rain.... A low pressure system is slowly passing over the country on Saturday which means that the rain is never too far away. It's a bit hit or miss as to whether there will be rain but some showers may be possible.
Wind... Whatever about the uncertainty about the amount of rain, there is little doubt that it's going to be windy in the morning as the centre of the low heads away to the north-east. There will be a strong breeze from the west which will feel especially strong on the high ground from miles 5 to 9 in the Half-Marathon.
For the 10k, it's pretty simple. It's a strong headwind for the first half and then a strong tailwind for the second half.
