Notice : Charleville Half-Marathon - Sun 15th Sept 2019

The Charleville Half-Marathon is coming up on Sunday, the 15th of September 2019 at 10am and it is widely recognised as being one of the fastest courses in the country.

This is also an ideal race for anyone preparing for the Dublin City Marathon as it should give you a good guide as to what your target pace for Dublin should be.

Note there is a limit of 1600 entries and it sold out in 2016, 2017 and 2018.

Update 27th Aug 2019 : Please note that there are less than 100 places left now! The entry is €40 until midnight 27th of August. Enter asap interested.

Update 28th Aug 2019 : Well that didn't take long. The last 90 were snapped up yesterday.


The entry fee is €40 until the 27th of August and then it's €45 until the 10th of September.

Proceeds from the race go towards the development of North Cork Athletic Club and St.Josephs Foundation where the race is hosted.

Every year, North Cork AC present a cheque to St.Josephs Foundation from the  proceeds of the race. The photo below shows a cheque for €2000 being presented in 2017.

Committee Members of North Cork AC, present a cheque for €2,000 to Noreen Ryan CEO St Josephs Foundation Charleville, proceeds of the 2016 Charleville International Half Marathon. St Josephs Foundation is an organisation for people with special needs and they kindly host the half-marathon on their site every year, along with allowing North Cork AC access to their sports facilities for juvenile athletes training.
