Results & Photos of the Mallow 10 mile road race - Sun 24th March 2019



There were just over 1,500 finishers for this years Mallow 10 mile road race. In terms of conditions,  it couldn't have got any better as it was cool and overcast with a gentle breeze, ideal weather for fast times.

  2. Just wondering, the race was sold out, they expected 2000+ runners so 25% didn't show up? Is that average?

  3. Aoife Cooke 55mins, some run, must be one of fastest female 10 mile times in Ireland for a while?

  5. As for no-shows, I think it was around 20% for the Ballycotton 10.

  8. This was my first time running Mallow and I really enjoyed it. It right up there with the best of them and I'll definitely be back next year. Well done Mallow AC.

    1. I'd reckon if you went over the last 10 years very few if any Irish women have gone near 55 mins.the last I can remember would be Maria Cambridge about 5years ago in ballycotton

  16. Really enjoyed the race. Will be back next year. One 'opportunity for Improvement' as there called nowadays would be to split the surname registration for 'N-O' as the volume for that queue far exceeded the other surname queues. It led to a 20 minute wait for the number. The 3 volunteers at that table were under too much pressure doing their best while other manned tables had no queues.

  17. What a race so well organised, absolutely fantastic quality T-shirt , great support, great stewarding and a fantastic spread in the hall afterwards.
    It is my first time at race where there was no queues for teas/coffees
    The whole event was seamless
    This is the best 10 miler is Cork hands down
    Well done Mallow AC see you next year.
