According to a piece in the Evening Echo, the Tramore Valley Park in Cork City is on course to open in the Summer of 2019.
The City Hall spokesperson said..."We are on course for a summer 2019 opening, we want it opened by early summer. We are reconfiguring the road entrance for people entering and exiting. The contractor is on site. The aim is to have it opened in May.
On the way in we are segregating the traffic that is going to the recycling facility from those using the park. At the moment, there is one lane in and one lane out to the South Ring and we want to put a second lane that will allow two lanes out onto the road. It's overdue and we are very much looking to it opening."
