This 5 mile road race on the Wild Atlantic Way is coming up in the village of Allihies on the Beara Peninsula on Saturday the 23rd of June 2018. In terms of location, it must be one of the most scenic spots in the county.
Not so long ago there were no races on the Beara Peninsula. Now, there are 3 really spectacular ones...Bere Island, Eyeries and now Allihies.
The village of Allihies with its multi-coloured houses is located in one of the most scenic parts of the country and for anyone traveling some distance, this would be an excellent excuse for a weekend away.
