5 Mile last year for me was Midleton 5 Mile. Great event for their anniversary, lovely running top and great spread after. 10k was Thomas Kent. Great inaugural race. Challenging course. Great organisation and many many spot prizes after.

  3. I am going to be Biased and say Bweeng 10k. Offers 2 race distances with 5k too. Not many do that. Great spread of food. Nice route. Chip timed and growing again this year and all for 10euro. After that the Thomas Kent 10k and East Cork 10k. For 5mile Milstreet is a good one.

  16. The Carrigaline 5mile is under-rated. It's a brilliant race. Ballyandreen & Midleton 5's are also great races.

No 10K's of the calibre mentioned above.

  25. The East Cork Harbour 10k in Aghada.
A very nice out and back course with a decent chance of bagging a pb too.
The burgers cooked to order at the finish were a nice touch.
An excellent attempt for first time race organisers.

The Midleton 5 mile, good course, nice running top and plenty of parking space in Market Green. As for 10k, I'm fairly new to running, and the East Cork 10k was my first and only (so far) 10k, and it was a great day out!
