The Jersey Marathon in the Channel Islands was held on Sunday the 2nd of November and attracted a smallish field of 354 runners. The first woman home was Nollaigh O'Neill of Leevale AC in Cork in a time of 3h 01m.
What's suprising about this marathon is just how good the prize money was with £2,500 going to the first man and woman.
