The 2016 Mallow 10 mile road race will not be rescheduled

As most of you will know, the Mallow 10 mile road race on the 20th of March had to be cancelled due to a tragic traffic accident on the N20 road.

Mallow Athletic Club have announced today that they will be unable to reschedule the race for 2016. As a not for profit organisation, they have already incurred most of the costs associated with holding a race and are not in a position to hold the race at a later date in 2016 or to defer entries to 2017. They have decided to donate the prize fund to numerous charities and causes.
