Events in Cork this weekend...Sat 26th to Mon 28th Mar 2016

There is no shortage of events this weekend although the weather doesn't look great with showers of rain never too far away.

Cork...Mon 28th (2pm)...Boherbue to Kiskeam 4 mile road race...€15...info...

    Do u register in Kiskeam and then start the race in Boherbue? Or do you register in Boherbue? Also how do you get back from Kiskeam to Boherbue ( and don't say run back). Thanks.

    You park and register in Kiskeam. You'll be able to get a lift from there to the start line in Boherbue (club has a small mini-bus as well). Just there early.

    The race starts at 2pm so you would want to be in Kiskeam at about 1:15pm. Enter and then find some transport. Try to get to Boherbue before 1:45-1:50pm. Easy warm up and then race back.

    I won this race in 2003 and have been fortunate enough to race all kinds of stuff in many places. I have not forgotten what a great race it is. The organizers have great history as team mates that did the British XC at Parliamont Hill together. A special place with special people.
