Claire-Gibbons McCarthy wins Waterford Half-Marathon...Sat 9th Jan 2016

The rescheduled Waterford half-Marathon was held on Saturday the 9th of January and a large contingent of runners from Cork traveled to it. Clare-Gibbons McCarthy of Leevale AC won the women's race in a time of 1h 16m 45s. Mark Hanrahan of Leevale and John Meade of St.Finbarr's AC finished 2nd and 3rd respectively in the men's race.
