This cross country race was held on the CIT grounds on Friday the 11th of December 2015.
There were 34 in the mens race over 4.6kms and just 6 in the 2.8km womens race.

ReplyDeleteIn Cross Country the distances are never accurate due to terrain etc.... This Is the same at any level of competition.
ReplyDeleteIn addition I Really enjoyed this race. I'm not usually the type of person who runs XC but I thoroughly enjoyed this.
Leave your watch at home when doing cross country, it's not about the time
ReplyDeleteNational events and international cross country are measured correctly. ......the distance in this race however doesn't matter. It's a low key event to introduce people to cross country. ..No top provincial runners in this event. ...good to see the casual runner taking part.....it's all about introducing New people to the sport. ....well done CIT
