  1. Very well organised event with great afters but the amount of small kids running was just plain dangerous. This will have to stop or someone will get seriously injured.

  2. I agree 16 years of age is the recommended age for AAI permitted races

  3. It's important that the AAI recommendations are adhered to or else someone will get hurt.

  4. Great race and fantastic spread of food afterwards....however this was not a chipped race. There was a 12 second difference between my watch time and my recorded time. I found out afterwards that the organisers decided to time it from when the gun went off......over 500 runners so obviously took a few seconds to cross the start line....chip in the bib was therefore invalid. It would have been nice to know this beforehand. Every second counts when you are trying to beat a personal record.

  5. Thought that alright, there was def a couple of seconds between my watch time and the 'official' time.

  6. It is up to you to ask if its chip or gun time. It is quite common to have it gun time. I asked this before the race and knew it was gun time.

  7. Why would you need to ask beforehand if it's gun or chip timing when you would automatically assume that it is chip timing since there was a chip on the bib.
