Races in Cork...Wed 5th Aug 2015

The weather is expected to improve this evening with a clearance from the West. Whether it comes in time for the following races remains to be seen but the rain may have stopped by then. Here are the two races on offer this evening......

Cloyne 5k......The annual Cloyne 5k road race in East Cork takes place at 8pm. Entries are open at the school hall from 3pm. This is a flat 5km course so it's a good one for a fast time or PB.

Knocknagree One Mile.....This one mile race in the village of Knocknagree in NW Cork is organised by Gneeveguilla AC and is part of their Summer Series. It starts at 7:30pm. More info on their website.
