Results of the East Ferry 5 mile road race...Fri 5th June 2015

Normally when a race goes well and I put up results here, I might say it had gone up 10% or even 30% if it was exceptional. Well, the East Ferry 5 mile this year was up a massive 143% !!

In 2014, a total of 115 runners turned out for this race. This years race which was held on Friday the 5th of June had an impressive 279 finishers.

  3. Really enjoyed Friday's 5 miler! Lovely scenery along the way, great organisation, and lots of cakes to replenish energy stores afterwards. Thank-you East Ferry Rowing Club.

  4. First time doing this race (has this run slipped under the radar in recent years - wasn't aware of it till I saw it advertised on here ). What a gem of a race - where else can you run a 5mile race in Cork with the sea beside you for virtually the full 5 miles. And did anyone else get the divine smell of food wafting from the pub at about the 2 mile mark ?!!! Great evening, well organised. Thanks to all.
