Notice...Grant Thornton 5k Team Challenge, Cork City - Tues 30th June 2015

The Grant Thornton 5k Team Challenge started in Dublin back in 2012 and it got an entry of 1595 in its first year. In 2013, that increased to 2885 and in 2014, it was up to an impressive 3573 runners.

Building on that success, the event is now being rolled out in Cork on Tuesday the 30th of June 2015. Organised by Athletics Ireland, the 5k race is made up of teams of 4 people...see details below...

As you can see, it's €100 per team of four with every entrant getting a dry fit top and a goodie bag. You can enter via the Athletics Ireland website.

Proceeds from the event go to Athletics Ireland and their High Performance Programme.

10% of the proceeds also go to the ISPCC.

The race starts on the South Mall outside the Grant Thornton offices and takes in a loop out by Ballintemple before finishing by Kennedy Park.
