Might not be the most easy 5 miler but the atmosphere and hospitality more than make up for it. Well done on the lovely spread afterwards
ReplyDeleteCant understand why the women only run one quarter the distance of the men? Hardly warmed up by 2km!
ReplyDeleteI ran the women's race and totally agree with the comment about the short distance. It makes no sense. Hospitality afterwards was amazing. Thanks to all who helped out.
ReplyDeleteGreat hospitality, very well organised. Also ran the ladies race, ridiculously short distance, but saying that I wouldn't have fancied tackling that hill 4 times either!!
ReplyDeleteThis short distance sentiment for ladies came up again last year. I believe that the explanation behind the shorter distance is that it is a championship race and 2k is the official distance for ladies to run in championship races.
ReplyDeleteA great night, well done to all involved. Fantastic spread afterwards.
