As you can see from the race flyer above, there is a free dry fit top for the first 500 entrants. Considering that registered BHAA runners only pay €5 then it's very good value. For non-reg runners, it's €8 but it's still great value.
Add to that the fact the course is one of the fastest around and there is a full spread afterwards then it's sure to attract big numbers.
This Cork BHAA race is organised in association with Gas Networks Ireland and all proceeds are going to the Rebel Wheelers....a charity which aims to give those with a disability access to sport. You can see their website here.... http://rebelwheelers.com/
Kids from Cork charity Rebel Wheelers join staff and runners from Gas Networks Ireland as they gear up for the Gas Networks Ireland BHAA 5k run that takes place in Cork Marina on March 1st. The race is part of the Cork Business Houses Athletics Association (BHAA) programme and runners of all abilities and fitness levels are welcome to take part. All entry proceeds will go to Rebel Wheelers. Free t-shirt for the first 500 to register on the day. Further information on www.corkbhaa.com |
