Really glad BHAA went with original course, its superior to 6km route. Great party atmosphere at prize giving . Well done to all
ReplyDeleteGreat day, for référence to this course for use in february, the truck trailers by dd Williamson and Pepsi shud be fenced off. Someone is going to take their head off, hard to see in low sun from east on the turn on the looping at the 2 Mile mark. Other than that a Great organised event, given the éléments.
ReplyDeleteLads, well done on a great event over a testing course. Well marshalled as always, plenty of food and banter afterwards too.
ReplyDeleteGreat day out. The delay could not be helped, runners safety always needs to come first. Brilliant craic for the prizes, everyone in great spirits!
ReplyDeleteOnce again a well ran race by BHAA/FMC. Glad they ran the old 4M course as really wanted to see how much I have improved since last year.
ReplyDeleteOnly feedback I would have is at registration have a large sign over the two desks for which desk is for registered members and non-registered members.
first time running this one. Well organised, well marshalled, appreciated that the delay at start was from a H&S point - cheers!
ReplyDeleteTwo points of feedback: in my opinion the loop @ industrial estate, was a bit congested at one point with runners running in both directions on same side of road.
Also there wasnt enough Water at the finish line for the last few finishers. these finishers faced a thirsty walk back to the hall to be met by a very long queue for the Tea & Coffee. - perhaps more water at the finish line next time!
Another well organised and enjoyable race by the BHAA, on a personal basis preferred the 4 mile course.
