Ballycotton 10 entries open today Fri 5th Dec 2014...2pm and 8pm

This is the day for Ballycotton 10 entries and you can expect to see huge demand for the 2,300 available places. Online entries will open on Friday December 5th at 2pm when the first 1,300 will be accepted. At 8pm on the same evening, a further 1,000 will be accepted, making an online total of 2,300.

If you are not a member of an athletics club or didn't do all 4 races in the Ballycotton Summer Series then you need to take note! More info in this earlier post.

From the organisers......There will be a high volume of registrations for this event at 2pm and 8pm and there are a limited amount of places available.

The system can facilitate this however, as registrations are processing the system will slow down in order to track and avoid overflowing the limit. You may experience some issues queuing and securing a place during the process, we would ask you to be patient and keep trying. If you are successful you will receive a confirmation receipt.

Note: prior to registration opening and to ensure the process is unhindered please delete your cookies on your PC/Laptop as some downloaded corrupt cookies can intefere with the banking process. Check your settings on your Ipad, phones and Tablets also.

If you have completed your order and have not received a confirmation please email info@precisiontiming.net for assistance.

Update.....@10:50pm...The 1300 spots that opened at 2pm are gone. Someone said it took 20 mins? Overall, it seems to have been smooth enough. The remaining 1000 entries opened up at 8pm.I checked the entry page at 8:26pm and it was open. I checked it again at 8:40pm and it was closed.

Someone said it has re-opened again! At 10:20pm, it is now open.

ok...10:50pm and it's definitely closed now. Almost feel like someone should put a wooden stake in it just to be sure :o)

  5. This is Ireland's undisputed premier classic road race and it is always a privilege to be there on the day. Once again I have managed to enter and look forward to training for my first sub-90 minute ten mile in many a year.

  8. No Cork club on list? Hopefully they won't be there tonight either! That will give the rest of us a better chance of entering and if you are member of club you have an extra few days to enter anyway.

  9. There seems to be have been a lot of clubs missing no Waterford ones either. If you are a club member though you will get in with a postal entry at least.

  11. Members of AAI clubs don't need to enter online, we have another two weeks to enter by post. Maybe that's why there were no clubs online.

  12. Anyonefrom an AAI club that enters online deprives someone else of a place so several clubs advise their members not to enter online.
