Winners of the Cork AAI Novice Cross-Country Championships...Sun 5th Oct 2014

The Cork AAI Novice Cros Country Championships were held in Carrigadrohid near Macroom on Sunday 5th Oct 2014. West Muskerry AC were the host club.

The mens race was won by Michael Harty of East Cork AC, Michael Dullea of Skibbereen AC was 2nd while Owen Casey of Leevale AC was 3rd.

In the mens team event, Leevale AC finished first on 24 pts, West Cork were second with 37 and Togher AC were 3rd with 59.

In the womens race, Ronnie Barry of Bandon AC finishes 1st, Mags Dempsey of Tracton AC was 2nd while Fiona Santry of East Cork AC was 3rd.

In the womens team event, East Cork AC just edged out Leevale AC despite both finishing on 64 points. Midleton AC were 3rd with 70 points just ahead of Mallow AC on 72.
