A brand new marathon was held in the town of Charleville last Sunday the 12th of October 2014. This was organised by Marathon Club Ireland so that some of their members in Cork could avail of a marathon closer to home.
The course consisted of two loops of the Charleville Half-Marathon course and 50 runners took part.
