In a effort to promote cross country running, West Limerick AC are hosting an open event in Newcastlewest on
Sunday the 31st of August. This is aimed at club runners who might be training for the upcoming cross country season as well as anyone who would like to try cross country for the first time.
In general, most cross country race are for club members only so this would be an ideal chance for a non-club runner to try one out. The course will be run inside the Castle Demense in Newcastlewest.
