Notice...Kilcredan 5k road race, E.Cork - Fri 30th May 2014

This popular 5 km road race is coming up on Friday evening, the 30th of May at 8pm. This race was first held in 2013 and it attracted a field of over 300 runners.


Located near Ballymacoda in East Cork, this one is easy to access from the east via Youghal and from the west via Castlemartyr and Ladysbridge...


The course is in the shape of a triangle and goes in a clockwise direction. It is largely flat or made up of sections with gentle gradients.

There will be showers available to use in the sports field hall changing rooms after the race.

    From the organisers...
    They have to be 10years and up and affiliated with a club. They also have to be used to running the distance.

    We also have a walk at 6.30 were kids can run jog accompanied by an adult. All kids who do this get a medal.
