Results of the MMRA Kilworth Woods Trail Race...Sun 23rd Feb 2014

A total of 68 runners took part in the MMRA trail race in Kilworth Woods last Sunday. As you can from the photo, there was a nice 'water feature' included ;o)

    Eagle AC and Midleton AC were two of the Cork Clubs represented at Kilworth. It would be great to see more club runners take part in the Munster trial races. These add a bit of novelty and build up the legs for the hilly sections to be found on many of Cork's road races.

    ..I though the club participation was well spread on the day, I also saw folks with singlets from East Cork AC, Carraig na bhFear, Mooreabbey Milers, Clonakilty and Mallow. Agree with Gearoids comments, these races are great for the legs and good fun
