Results of the Youghal 4 mile road race...Thurs 11th July 2013

There was a big turnout of 235 runners for this 4 mile road race around the streets of Youghal town in East Cork. The first man home was Sean McGrath of East Cork AC in a time of 20:06. The first woman was Dymphna Ryan of Dundrum AC in a time of 23:13. Dymphna was also the first woman home in the Cork BHAA race the previous evening in Cork City and is a regular winner of races in the Tipperary area.

  5. One of the best races in East Cork, great atmosphere and a great spread afterwards, flat course, what more could you want!? Can't wait for next year...

  9. It is a pity to have scheduled this new race the night before the Kilworth 5 mile race as runners will only pick 1 race a week and especially Cork runners will pick the race closer to them! I think the County Board will have to review how they deliver permits.
