HI John
ReplyDeleteJust see on your course preview that there's a slight change to the route this year with the start going the oppoiste way and out on the main road. This should improve things as it was an narrow enough start.
Could they open registration the night before for maybe and hour or two. Maybe 6 to 8. Just an idea. It has worked well for other races with big numbers

I like the old course better but am biased as I have run it over 100times in training. The start of the new course is much wider than before which should ease congestion at the start of the race.
ReplyDeletethe new course is very similar to the old one with the new wider start area making it alot more enjoyable.

ReplyDeleteThis is my 1st year doing the walk-is there parking available on the night of the race for walkers?
There will be plenty of parking for runners and walkers.
