For those of you who went to this race and got the 20% discount voucher, this is a reminder of where the store is in Cork City....
In from the US for a week of work - this was a fun race. THANKS CORK.
ReplyDeleteSuper race, well done to the organisers and the runners!
ReplyDeleteExcellent setup, although didnt actually hang around for and extras at the end. Good to see taping up to stop any short cuts!
ReplyDeleteBest run BHAA race on the calender and a lot of it can be put down to the introduction of chip timing. There was no waiting in lines before or after the race which was great. Results up with in a couple of hours too. Well done John Buckleys hopefully this will start a trend for BHAA races in the future
ReplyDeleteI thought the pre-registration was a good idea. The only thing about the large numbers is that the start is a bit scary, but once you get going it's fine. Also didn't hang around for tea, just was nice to get a fast race done and do a bit of a 'meet and greet'!!
ReplyDeleteStart a bit scary all right - was up at the front and got clipped from behind in the first 30 or 40 metres. Very nearly ended up on my face- would have caused some pile-up, it's inevitable with such a big crowd in a fast race, no ones fault. Great race though many thanks to the organisers and chip timing a huge improvement on last year.
ReplyDeleteRegistered on the night. No time shown. Were all competitors entered to the system?
ReplyDeleteIf your result is missing then contact the chip timing company... info@precisiontiming.net
ReplyDeleteI'm the same - not listed in the results... have emailed but it was just good to get out and do the race anyway.
ReplyDeleteWonderful to see so many people support BHAA - 1000 next year!!
