    1. That's not fair on the BHAA, they have far greater numbers to deal with.

  5. With regards to the BHAA, there is a big difference between taking 150 entries as in this race and taking 300+ entries in a BHAA race with all of the various grades and teams.

  6. Great race and a top class venue. I also run BHAA regularly and I saw some of their best giving a helping hand - good on ye. Nice to see some new faces in the top ten that's what these races are all about. Hope it goes ahead again next year, word of mouth will double the numbers. BHAA or not just go out and run.

  7. On the way to Dublin & have results on the iPhone, nice one. Loved the course & the organization was as good as I've experienced - parking 100 mtrs. from race start and on the road 20 mins after race - well done to all. I'll be back!!!!

  8. I have not participated in these kind of event before really enjoyed it, would the time the winner in the mens category be considered an excellent time?

  9. Best race I've run this year - out of the car and right alongside the start/finish. Also safe with no traffic to worry about - well done to all, roll on next year. Saw some BHAA helping out, well done.

  10. Anything under 17 mins is a good time. Normally BHAA winner would be sub 16 mins, 5 minute miles, depends on course. I was out to watch but will run this race next year, very well organised. Great event well done to all

  14. This continuing slagging off of the BHAA is getting tedious. Cork BHAA are dealing with a huge growth in numbers over the last few years and are making changes to deal with it. If you find their races don't suit you don't go, there are lots of other people who think they're doing a great job.

  15. Ya I'd have to agree with supporting the BHAA, the amount of work they do for cork running is amazing. These people are all there on a voluntary basis giving up their time for our privilege. If you can't respect what they do and the efforts they make then dont turn up on race day. It's exhausting to have to listen to the negative comments from people who only seem to want to find fault. Sure there will be times when you have to wait a bit longer in the tunnel or the results are late but for the love of god it isn't the end of the world. Considering the numbers they get they do a good job.
