As you come to expect from Cork BHAA, excellent set-up in Little Island this morning.Flat route, well stewarded, and because of the looped circuit, it was great for us down "in the bunch" to see the guys leading the race heading for home, and the sheer pace that they had.
ReplyDeleteOnly small quibble is i waited 9 mins in the shuttle at the finish. Not too nice when it was only 1 degree celcius, but i suppose with the large turnout, things like that will happen. Great morning all told.
Wat race were u running dat was not a flat route.
ReplyDeleteWad my first BHAA road race and i really enjoyed it will be doing this one again.
ReplyDeleteGreat morning for it and a huge turn out, the norm these days which is good to see. There were 3 lines at the finish so I think it was organised pretty well considering the numbers and I would agree it was about as flat as they get. Evan you'll have to work on your hill training :) looking forward to Dungarvan.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed the race.I have one crib,I registered and paid for the membership at yesterdays race but i still had to pay the €8 for yesterdays race,I just thought this was a bit mean considering the amount of money I will be paying throughout the year as I did last year.Times are still tough out there.
ReplyDeleteEmma Murphy improving all the time sub 23 great run, nice to see Emma getting better and better.
ReplyDeleteJohn Dunphy.
Was there a problem with the recording of the times? Although mine was roughly correct, I noticed that two people that I passed out in the race have recorded finishing times over five minutes before me. And they got placed!
ReplyDeleteGet in touch with the BHAA on their facebook page with details if there's something amiss.
DeleteJust a note to say that a LOT of people are not on Facebook, probably something around 30-40%.
ReplyDeleteThe best way to contact the Cork BHAA is via e-mail...
