Results of the Cork BHAA Turkey Trot...Sun 16th Dec 2012

This charity 4 mile race was held near Pairc Ui Chaoimh in Cork City on Sunday, the 16th of December. A total of 359 people took part and over €4,000 was raised for Cork Simon.

The format of this race was for people to predict their time and then to run without watches. Those that ran closest to their predicted times won. Incredibly, two runners were spot on while another three were just one second out!

  3. Well done to the ever-excellent BHAA - after last week's fiasco in Clon it's great to run in an event where the organisers know what they are doing and have the runners as their first priority.

Also, €4,000 is not to shabby for a short fundraiser

Meanwhile, a word of praise for Doug Minihane. The man covers so many races and not just the top of the field either. How many great photos has he posted in 2012?
