A flat course that had its challenges in a humid and breezy afternoon. Registering in the GAA grounds this year was a wise move which allowed everyone to utilize the walk track and sports field for the warm up. Overall a very well organised event and wouldn't be surprised if numbers increased next year.
ReplyDeleteGood flat course.Very well organised.Nice day.Pity there was a small turnout. This was one of the best for me this year.
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid a 5KM race on a Sunday at 1pm does not suit a lot of runners , as it takes up a large part of the day .!!!!
ReplyDeleteI agree with the last comment, I'd be more inclined to do it if it was at 11am.
ReplyDeleteI thought this was one of the best 5k road races so far this year. It was very well organised, the sportsfield in Banteer is a gem. Well done to Duhallow AC.looking foward to the 5k in Newmarket in December.
