Some road races coming up next Friday, the 15th of June...

For those of you doing the Cork BHAA race in Glanmire this evening, note that it is over a 4 mile circuit rather than 5 miles.

There are no less than 3 races coming up at 8pm next Friday evening, the 15th of June 2012.

For those of you following the Ballyhoura ACTIVE Race Series, there is a 10k road race in Bilboa in East Limerick at 8pm. This is the second race in the series and should attract a good turnout from the East Limerick/SW Tipp/N Cork catchment area. More details in this post on the Running in Munster website.

For anyone in Waterford or East Cork, there is the annual Rás na Rinne which is a part road/part trail race over a 5.4 mile circuit. This is the 6th race in the ongoing popular Ger Wyley Sports Summer Series. More info on the race in this post.

Closer to Cork City, there is a 4 mile road race over the Ballyanley circuit in Iniscarra.  In terms of location, it is just to the west of Tower near Blarney so it's within easy access to a lot of people in the city. The course is on lovely quiet country roads and should attract a good crowd. More details in a later post.
