Welcome to the Running in Cork blog, home of the Cork running community. This is the largest website in Cork & Munster for news on road races and general running news. Included are a current race calendar, race previews, photos, results as well as some local, national and international news items.
Me too - was not going to bother this year, but once I saw the form, it was printed, signed and sent off in a half hour.
You can be sure that someone will be moaning about the entry process in late February. For me its the same as trying to enter the Boston, or New York marathons. The event is oversubscribed. There has to be some method of limiting the entries, and this entry method is the same for everyone. Its the perennial issue surrounding Ballycotton. If you are so keen to enter then get yourself sorted in late November/early December.
I wasn't going to enter but just seeing the form I couldn't resist.
ReplyDeleteThanks John.
ReplyDeleteHow long before someone says ...Oh,..But I didn't realise I needed to send it off so quickly. :-)
