Another video clip here just before the finish...
That was fast !!
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting. :O)
I heard reports of stones being thrown at participants. Wouldn't those bold youth be better off taking up running. Luckily I was gone before they came along but I think those running a 10 minute mile sort of pace got caught.
ReplyDeleteThe children were all very positive and only saying nice things while I was passing.
Hi John, appreciate the volume of runners at race but thought you would have enough assistance to process results at this stage.
ReplyDeleteFrom a novice perspective it means a lot to establish ones progress by checking the final position, so never underestimate the significance of these results to the ordinary Joe soap.
In reply to the last comment...
ReplyDeleteI have nothing to do with the results. The race is organised by the Cork BHAA and as soon as the results are available, I put up the link here.
BHAA results always take a few days to appear.
Apologies John for the presumption and my impatience.
ReplyDeleteGreatly appreciative of the excellent and efficient uploading of race information.Must curb my enthusiasm!:)
To the ordinary Joe Soap above, John does a super VOLUNTARY job of profiling and commenting on the races, and you feel disappointed that he doesn't have results up 10 mins after race that you can view from the comfort of your armchair! I have to admire the restraint John displayed in his comment. Talk about being unappreciated. By the way, I don't know John, nor have I anything to do with the running of these races. But I would like to thank John for his super blog.
ReplyDeleteRegards. Kevin.
Hi John, I am new to the running seen. I have been really impressed with the BHAA and your blog. Keep up the excellent work. Mild Crib, you never mentioned that slight incline in the Dean Rock estate on Wednesday night, lol.
ReplyDeletehi fellow runners. let everyone just chill out a go for a nice run.
ReplyDeleteWe get the results when they are ready, if it is not fast enough maybe we should offer some help to bhaa. great race by the way and thanks again John and to all involved for info, pictures and videos provided.
