The race started around 2 minutes late. Everyone new the start time was 12.30. If you or anyone else decided to be at the start line before that time then you knew you would have to wait until the official start time.

And as for the support - if you wanted support why didn't you bring a bus load Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36499493.post-43157146433279886152012-03-22T21:03:23.773+00:002012-03-22T21:03:23.773+00:00Re. comment about Boards.ie:

I've run 3 top class 10 milers in 7 weeks for less than the price of 1 'fancy' half marathon. Of course there is room for improvement, but constructive criticism not complaint is what is needed. The amount of negative comments is a bit much. For €15 we got a 10mile race, t shirt, good food, pacers, results out before many people got back to the hall. For volunteers to hold a race of this size is to be commended. We run because we enjoy it. My favourite complaint was that the 60 minute pacer was wearing black Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36499493.post-64393298090512388832012-03-21T18:11:22.692+00:002012-03-21T18:11:22.692+00:00I think roping the cones would be more dangerous a...I think roping the cones would be more dangerous as they move and the rope gets slack someone is going to trip over the rope.
