New milestone signs at the Tramore Valley Park parkrun

The photo above shows the new signs that were sourced recently for the Tramore Valley Park 5k parkrun in Cork city.

There's one for each of the parkrun milestones from 25 to 1000. One side of the sign is used for runners and walkers who have reached a certain milestone and the opposite side of the same sign is used for volunteer credits.

Each one of the signs is made from corriboard and is about 30cms in diameter. These could probably be made at any company that makes signs.

At many parkruns, single use helium balloons are used for milestones which is a bit of a waste. All that is really needed is something simple like the signs above for a few photos at the event.

If you reach a milestone at the Tramore Valley Park event then ask the volunteers there for the signs so that you can take some photos.

I think these type of milestone signs would be of special interest to other parkrun events throughout the country as they're so simple but effective.

  1. Where is the artwork available from. We at Rec Plex North parkrun, Pensacola, Florida would be most interested. Thank you

  2. It came from the pictures of the milestone t-shirts on the parkrun website.
