Results of the Ballinhassig 4 mile road race...Mon 17th Mar 2014

A total of 184 turned out for this year's 4 mile road race in Ballinhassig organised by Rising Sun AC, a drop of about 9% on the 2013 figure of 203.

    Challenging course but really enjoyed it, v well organised and fabulous spread afterwards, thanks to all involved

    A real race, tough course with plenty of ups & down..that drag to 3.5 miles really tests you. Very well organised and great day out.

    While numbers where less than last year. The standard at the top seemed to higher than last year. That should be mentioned too.

    Lovely race and we were blessed with the weather. Very interesting course. Great reception afterwards with the food and drinks in a very nice hall. The crowds (# of runners) wasn't overbearing, in fact, quite a nice sized field. Well done to all involved and thanks!

    P.S. One small suggestion would be to have the table with water closer to the finish line.
