Running events this weekend in Cork - Sat 9th & Sun 10th Feb 2019

Another weekend and there is no shortage of running events in Cork to choose from. The gales on Friday should subside over the weekend and the weather is looking pretty reasonable for Saturday and Sunday.

The weather systems over us currently are dragged across the Atlantic by the jet stream high up in the atmosphere. The long term forecast is for a kink in that jet stream to move east next week which will divert a lot of the low pressure systems above us to the north. We'll have to wait and see what transpires but next week is looking as if it might be more settled.
