WADA report finds corruption went to the highest level in International Athletics

The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) released the second part of their report today and laid the blame for the corruption and malpractice within the IAAF with its former president Lamine Diack.

Diack who was president of the IAAF for 16 years from 1999-2015, was said to "responsible for organizing and enabling the conspiracy and corruption that took place in the IAAF. He sanctioned and appears to have had personal knowledge of the fraud and the extortion of athletes carried out by the actions of the informal illegitimate governance structure he put in place.”
