Irish international Sarah McCormack wins 10k outright in Cumbria



Sarah McCormack as many of you will know was a regular on the trail race scene in Cork last summer. She was also a member of the Irish team that won Gold at the European Cross Country Championships back in 2012.She has also represented Ireland several times at international mountain races.

Last weekend, Sarah won the Great Langdale 10k race in Cubria in England in a time of 33:46

Not only was she the first woman home but she beat all the men as well! Paul Tierney from Cork finished in 3rd. Full results HERE

Some going alright. Siobhan O'Doherty and Maria McCambridge did it in races here in recent years.
