Why is it that only some of the Irish runners mentioned got a time bonus and others with a better finishing time got none?

The time bonus is for Irish athletes. I just included it with those who have an Irish club. I have no way of telling where some of the others came from.

Hangar Oldroyd isvfrom Airedale Dodgers in Yorkshire. Her partner Steve Darby came in less than 2 mind later. It was there 2nd marAthan in a fortnight. They are Park Run ambassadors having ran Castlebar 5k on Saturday!!!

Great pictures by Joe Murphy showing the true nature of a marathon at its best and worst during the last half mile. Well done Joe.
That last half mile was the best effect of the change of the route, for amateur runners the crowds either side and the noise was phenomenal, the organisers should note same.
Well done to all on a tough day.
