Very good experience this morning. Reasonable entry fee, relatively decent goody bag, nice to finish on a track for a change. Great to have family and friends sitting in stand to cheer everyone finishing and this is something that should be promoted for next year.

Thoroughly enjoyed today. Great value for money. Will defo do again next year.
One negative......water station needs more thought. Thise operating it were under pressure filling plastic cups. Sports bottles be much better..
Well done to all behind the scenes.

Fair play to the organisers for grasping the nettle that is headphone wearing
http://www.totaltiming.ie/results/2014/leisureworld_rebel_run_10km_2014_fullresults.htm

7 runners disqualified for doing same.NO headphones is NO headphones is NO headphones is No headphones.
For anyone unsure of the reasons for this its quite simple insurance and safety. If you have an insurance issue and the insurance company log on and look at the pictures of your race and see headphone wearing that's it no insurance for your next race and in this case 500 peoples race cancelled,NO fair. The safety issue is obvious on an unclosed course with people in cars going about their business and heaven forfend anything ever happens to runner.
