Now that you mention it, that's very true...there are very few races on the north side of the city. Other than the Cork marathon and maybe counting the Glanmire one? I can't think of any others. There used to be a BHAA one in Mayfield many moons ago. Roads were probably a bit quieter then.

The hills would probably put people off and also BHAA races are sponsored by businesses and have a middle class cache about them which is a shame. The northside would have great routes to offer
