Ciara Everard wins the second heat of the womens 800m...

Rose-Anne Galligan wins the third heat of the womens 800m. Post race interview..."I feel really good and I'm just taking it one race at a time. My aim was to get through to the semi-final so it's nice to do it and the track is very nice."..

Derval O'Rourke runs a seasons best time of 8.00 seconds to go through to the final...

Tori Pena goes out of the European Indoor Championships after fouling three times at 4.36 metres in the womens pole vault. She had earlier cleared 4.16m at the first attempt.

Claire Tarplee finishes 4th in the third heat of the womens 1500m but it's not enough to go through...

Derval goes through to the semi-finals...

Brian Gregan wins his heat with ease. Post race interview : "I'm happy with my performance. I stumbled once or twice and the first heat is always tough, but overall, it was good."..

Ciarán Ó Lionáird wins his heat of the 3000m comfortably...Post race interview : "It is a fast and relaxed track - I had fun in a really fast race"............Stephen Scullion goes out...
  
John Travers goes out in the second heat of the 3000m. After leading at the 1000m mark, he faded badly over the remaining 2000m to finish in 8:23, well outside the 8:00 standard required for the championships.
